Who likes John Bolton? Condi didn't want him around
at the state department, the brits didn't want him around during the talks
with North Korea and most of his former employees don't have anything good
to say about the man.
So we have an international organisation run by the US plus an incompetent
man with friends in high places and that equals... nothing. Nothing but a
big payoff for Mr Bolton.
Every now and again you need to shake up people who are treading water. But
Bolton won't shake anything. Nobody at the UN is gonna take him seriously.
He has no recommendations, no experience, no qualities to do
the job he is send to do.
And what is that job by the way?
To "fix" the UN?
He's sent by an administration who has special interests stamped on every
policy. Getting a lecture on corruption by someone sent by Bush is like partying
with Al Gore. Not gonna happen.
So once again I ask. Who likes John Bolton?
