According to a USA Today poll 68% of americans don't
want the courts to overturn Roe vs. Wade. 68%!! The Bush nominee for the supreme
court has said that Roe vs. Wade is the law of the land and he seems to be
a team player, which in Republican language means "don't stop us from
winning". Cause winning always beats politics.
If you want people to come back for more, tease them just enough, but don't
give them anything with substance. In this case it means to not give the christian
right what they have demanded for so long on this issue. If Roe vs. Wade stands,
so does the support for anyone who says they're against it and the martyrhood
of those who fights to overturn it continues.
...and why take away one of the few things that's stopping the christian right from turning into a christian left.
