Rove Rove Rove. Rove everywhere. There is blood in the water and with the starved sharks gattering it is just a delight to watch it, from a safe distance of course.

If you would have told me a year ago that I would hear phrases like "Karl Rove is one of the most honest men I've ever met" or "Karl Rove is the most patriotic man in the country today" I would have certainly believe it was being said, expecting no less from the right wing spin machine, however I wouldn't have expected to hear it so often and so desperatly. It's almost like, for at least a moment, the tables have turned.
It's the Democrats that are on the offensive and the Republicans that are bitching and moaning about it. Not that the Republicans don't normally bitch and moan, but this time they are being called on it. The right wing media structure with its always available pundits and Heritage Foundation "experts" standing by 24/7 are of no interest for the mainstream media, heck not even the cable news pundits are buying it this time.
The RNCs talking points are called just that. RNC talking points, not sources, not facts, not opinions, not this time.

We all know what Karl Rove does, we all know that Bush knows what he does. He's supposed to dig through the garbage, find the children from out of wedlock and the hidden juvenile mugshots. That's what he does, and he's good at it.
Having Rove front and center is not working out and perhaps we'll see him telling Bush to fire him within a matter of weeks, it would seem the easist way for him to continue as usual from just down the street.

But I don't think this will just go away. Business will not be going on as usual, even if Rove is completly cleared of all criminal charges. Which seems to be the only thing that could get him fired at this point, the bar will most likely be lowered even more as this progresses.
This must have an impact on even the hardcore Bush zombie brigades. Cause we know that he knew, and I wouldn't be suprised if a couple of Bush supporters from '04 would have a gut feeling about this.
A gut feeling that can't be spinned around by people who consider Karl Rove to be the most patriotic man in the country today.
